Generate Building Performance Solutions Ltd (“Generate”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a building performance consultancy registered in England and Wales. Our website is itsabout.energy.

What information we collect

- Contact form submissions — name, email address, telephone number, and any details you include in your message
- EPC booking requests — name, email address, telephone number, property address, property type and number of bedrooms
- Email notifications — if you register to be notified when we expand our coverage area, we collect your email address

How we use your information
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or booking request
- Arrange and confirm appointments for EPC assessments or other services

- Client records — up to 7 years from the completion of the service, in line with standard business record-keeping requirements
- Coverage notification requests — until you withdraw consent or we expand coverage to your area
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with trusted third parties only where necessary to deliver our services:
- Accreditation bodies — energy certificates are lodged on the national register via our accreditation bodies (ecmk and Elmhurst Energy) as required by law
- Specialist partners — where a service is delivered through one of our specialist partners (such as air pressure testing or acoustic surveys), we will share only the information they need to complete the job
- CRM software — we may use customer relationship management software to manage enquiries; any such provider is required to handle data in accordance with UK GDPR
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal obligations to retain it)
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data
